Bjørn Borge started as the choir's conductor assistent during the participation in the competition in Calella in the autumn 2016. From nov. 1. 2016 he has been constituted with a 50% part as the choir's conductor. Fra feb. 1. 2017 he was engaged as the choir's conductor 100%.
Bjørn Borge is a choir conductor educated at The Norwegian State Academy of Music, and a organist and music educator from the Conservatory of Music in Trondheim. He is also conducting the choir Cantilena. Earlier he has been organist in Gildeskål Church, Heimdal Church and in the Nidaros Cathedral. He has conducted other choirs, i.a. Norwegian Chamber Singers, Orklang, Leinstrand songlag, Trønderkor, Heimdal Church Choir, Nidaros Cathedral Choir and Nidaros Cathedral Oratorio Choir.
